Hey everyone!!!! Hope you and your family are doing well.

Recently, there was an internal challenge in my workplace this was hosted by the client-side. It was an automation challenge to do performance testing on the website with a few additional tasks.

This challenge was not related to me because the work I actually do is not automation. But I thought to give it a try because I wanted to test myself how quickly I can grasp a new concept and how I will approach the challenge. In the end, I was surprised to see myself not giving up on the issues and errors arouse while I was trying to solve the challenge.

When I started to learn new concepts and topics, I decided to create blogs so that I can have in-depth knowledge of the topics and used “Medium” as a tool.

To begin with, I wanted to appreciate myself for not giving up on the challenge and for not procrastinating. Then I reached as many people as possible to get any suggestions to solve the issues and errors I faced and to solve an additional task. And to be honest I didn’t get the actual solution from them for my issues and errors but was able to get an approach to solve the additional task of the challenge. But most importantly they were suggesting the alternative way to approach the solution and they were discussing what they would have done and what were the issues and errors they face while they were working on those particular topics. I didn’t give up and I was analyzing the cause of the error in depth and bang I found the solution. Actually, the conversation I had with the people whom I approached for the error was the solution.

At last, I submitted the solution and they set up a meet to show a demo of the solution. I did showed them, they liked it but the most precious takeaway from that meet is that they encouraged me and provided a more optimized solution approach for the challenge. Days passed, got a message from them that I was the winner of the challenge. I was ecstatic and conveyed the results to the people who guided me throughout this challenge and thanked them.

I don’t see this challenge as a normal challenge for prize money but something which turned me into a blogger, a person with more confidence and a thirst to learn new stuff.

What I’m trying to say is “Try as many things as possible, fail a lot but in the end you’ll learn something new and you’ll be a better person than yesterday
